The conventus intramedullary cage is a novel method of internal stabilization of common fractures of the proximal humerus in the shoulder
This avoids the common complication of frozen shoulder often occurring after simple sling immobilization of these injuries typically occurring in a fall. The percutaneous (small approach) shown here demonstrates how more minimalistic procedures can facilitate much faster rehabilitation and recovery, as well as pain relief. I am doing these on an outpatient basis at the well equipped Surgery Center at Doral, adjacent to BHS.
