World Class Quality Care for Shoulder Injuries and Conditions

We are an integrated state-of-the-art facility specialized in the upper limb, treating conditions of the hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder. Our center is the private practice of hand and upper extremity surgeon, Dr. Alejandro Badia, and it’s located in Miami, FL, just minutes away from the Miami International Airport.

Our center caters to international patients seeking expert specialty care for the upper extremity outside of their countries. We offer minimally invasive solutions and sophisticated procedures as alternative options to open surgery.

For those suffering from shoulder conditions, such as Bursitis, Tendinitis, tendon tears, and arthritis, we offer arthroscopic surgery. This procedure allows the joint to be visualized with an arthroscope, which is inserted through small incisions made in the skin outside the joint. Arthroscopic surgery minimizes scarring, improves the surgeon’s visualization of the problem, and speeds the patient’s recovery time.

If you suffer from advanced shoulder arthritis, our center is one of the few that perform outpatient shoulder joint replacements, lowering common complications and costs associated with a hospital stay.

Common Shoulder Conditions and Injuries Treated:

  • Rotator cuff tears
  • Frozen shoulder
  • SLAP tear
  • Shoulder impingement / rotator cuff tendinitis
  • Dislocated shoulder or shoulder instability
  • Shoulder arthritis
  • Shoulder replacement, among others

Your journey to recovery can start today:
