Will I Get Relief Of Pain Immediately After An Injection?

Pain can be frustrating, and we want to help alleviate your pain as quickly and safely as we can.

There are various types of injections you may be offered to alleviate your symptoms or improve your condition, and each has its own timeframe of when you will feel relief. An injection of a local anesthetic, for example, will take your pain away almost immediately, but may last only a very short time. A corticosteroid injection may be offered for certain conditions.

These injections will begin alleviating your pain in approximately 2 days. Orthobiologic injections (PRP, stem cell, protease inhibitor), can take a bit longer to give you pain relief, but can be the longest lasting, as they stimulate your body to heal. Depending on your condition, we will talk to you about your treatment options, so that we get you not only the quickest pain relief, but the safest and longest lasting option for your diagnosis.
