Dr. Alejandro Badia, hand and upper limb surgeon, announces the opening of this second office, Badia Hand to Shoulder Center, in Doral, Florida. This state of the art facility is housed on the ground floor of a new medical office building near 3 major highways in the heart of Doral, the epicenter of Dade County. Close proximity to MIA airport and local hotels will facilitate the care of patients from abroad. These patients will have direct access to digital radiographs, MRI imaging, physical/occupational therapy and the most technologically advanced operating rooms available. Virtually all problems related to the hand wrist, elbow and shoulder region will be handled under one roof.

Dr. Badia was educated at Cornell University and NYU, where he later trained in orthopedic surgery while chief resident at Bellevue Hospital, NYC. His hand surgery fellowship was in Pittsburg and Europe. He co-founded the Miami Hand Center, and is currently chief of hand Orthopedic/arthoroscopy societies in the US, as well as abroad.
